To be welcomed as someone who has, in some cases, been considered different based on the caramel color of my skin, my speech, and other characteristics– have offered me many paths of thankfulness. This in its essence captures and delivers upon that urgency to build on a terrific need. A need to share how thankful I am each day of the year.

To my beautiful family and friends old and new, who are near and far, I appreciate you so much. Thank you for seeing me. For your trust and for the trust you offer me. For your kindness, and sweet care. In and for all of this, God so generously answered my prayer. Thank you, Heavenly Father!

And on those days when I’m conscious that I am clumsy of being thankful, I still follow God’s leadings and go right to this verse.

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!”

1 Chronicles 16:34

On this Thanksgiving may this verse be embedded in our hearts as we remember and always repeat, that yes truly, there’s always something to be thankful for.

My desire for you and yours is to experience a most heartfelt Thanksgiving!

With love,
