Pop's Pancit

  • 12-14 Large shrimp
  • 2 cups cabbage cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 6 cloves garlic chopped into small pieces
  • 3 green onions
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce
  • 1 package maifun rice noodles
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil


  • Heat wok and add vegetable oil. Add onion and garlic and let cook for about 2 minutes. Add soy sauce and cook for another 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook until shrimp is slightly pink. Add all remaining vegetables and cook until softened. Add chicken stock, then noodles, and season with salt and pepper. Let cook until all of the stock has been absorbed into the vegetables and noodles.
