Calendula-Orange Biscuits

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp orange rind
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tbsps sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • dried petals from 10 calendula flowers

Instructions
 

  • Mix all dry ingredients together until combined. Cut butter into the dry ingredients until everything crumbles. Add milk, orange juice, and orange zest. Mix well. Drop biscuits on prepared baking sheet and bake for 7-10 minutes in a 450 degree preheated oven. Let cool slighly before eating.
